I often wish their was an organization working on improving the Fediverse. There are plenty of problems to tackle, e.g. making stuff cheaper to run (see here ). Unfortunately, nada.

@helge unfortunately the kinds of architectural changes needed for this would be significant enough to break the fediverse at its foundations. the "monolithic instance model" isn't sustainable longterm in its current form.
