The most important thing a client app can do, with respect to quote posts, is ignore the official guidelines, and keep doing things the way they were doing things.

@metaning if they dont change it to the new system, it will be undetectable and unremovable as they are now.
Isn't the point to allow people to stop others from "dunking" on them?🤨

If someone wants their post removed from the quote post, they'll be able to do that with the new feature.
Not with how the apps have it.

The debate regarding quote posts was that people could dunk on others with their following.
They've made that basically impossible.
