As fast as we got some big attention here, it sure seems like we've already turned them all off of Fediverse just as fast...‍️

Even people who have been here for years are starting to think twice about whether this place is worthy of promoting.

There's many many issues here and i've been worried for quite some time that if they weren't addressed, it'd go downhill.

Lots are tired of waiting and it's sad that devs aren't moving to fix things like moderation and safety across the network. Among a number of other issues like the lack of true account portability.

Sure you can move your account, but it works iffy at best.

That's only a couple of the main issues though.

I love the idea of open communication across platforms.

I have pretty much lost all hope that it will ever be possible though, given how things seem to be going...

@BeAware All the code here is open source. If you think something needs fixing, then by all means get off your ass and fix it. It's one thing to bring a bug or a feature request to another but quite another thing to stand up and tirade over the fact that what you're getting for free isn't quite what you want.
