Does anyone know what this is cause I got it as a follow request and I don't get what its for from the description

@gruff this thing indexes your toots so people can search them.

A lot of instances blocked it because at first there was no consent and now they made this "if you accept my follow request, so it means you consent".

You can ask @BeAware, they're always remembering us about this "service".

I try to stay Aware of such things as much as possible.

I recommend blocking on every level possible if you don't enjoy someone else profiting off of your posts.
