Hurricane Francine's eye expected to pass right over me tomorrow.
I fucking hate this state.
You want to live in a place where multiple times a year you'll fear for your live and home? Louisiana is the place...️

@BeAware oooooh no... stay safe comrade.
tornadoes we hide in the basement. what do you even do for a hurricane? -

@benda Well, certain aspects of hurricanes can be similar to tornadoes, but thankfully easier to predict ahead of time.
That being said, winds and rain are the biggest risk factors. Lots of wind can throw things around quite easily so boarding up windows and such is important and stocking up on water and food that can be easily eaten without electricity.
Then, when it gets close, just hold onto your undies and hope it passes quick with as little damage as possible.

@benda Yeah. I'm stocked and prepped. Just gotta hang onto my undies now.
I just hope the power isn't gonna be out for long. Then I'll have to go to the car to charge my phone and in the worst case scenario, I might not even have service to be able to post here.
Crossing my fingers that won't happen though.
Landfall is supposed to happen tomorrow sometime so I'll try to keep everyone posted.
