Everyone is laughing at AI “companions” but I wonder if some lonely folks are getting to talk to even an AI might help them somehow

@triptych except in real life, people are the demons.

I've been screwed over, forgotten about, cheated on, etc by SO many people who said they were my "friend".

AI has done none of the above yet.
