I'm desensitized to news like this, and it pisses me off. No administration, Blue or Red, ever has the balls to take on the gun epidemic we have in the country.

Start with the overwhelmingly popular universal background checks. Put in waiting periods. Ban assault rifles.

An echo chamber full of echos of "ban assault rifles" while the people that have that power ignore the violence for profit.

Every politician has pockets full of companies that tell them what to endorse. If you can't outbid rifle companies for the politicians, you can't get rifles banned.

It really sucks, but that's the truth and unless lobbying gets outlawed, it will always be true.
