The linked readme url https://blog.bmn.dev/fedi-research.txt says, "I currently work on an attempt to build a reasonable recommendation engine for mastodon.
For this I set up a bot to listen to the major instances' public feeds.

They don't operate a Mastodon instance nor have an account anywhere. They just scrape public timelines for whatever software/ app program they say they are developing. They are violating my WordPress TOS anyway. All bots and scrapers, unless exempted, must get written permission first. Their bot gets that message when it first starts scanning.

If you're extra passive-aggressive, you'd literally give it a custom 404 page saying something like "This is not how consent works, dipshit!"
