The "blocked message" crap in discord is the stupidest block feature I've ever seen in tech.

"You wanna block this person? Okay, but you'll still be aware of every time they post a message" makes no fucking sense.

One time in the past when I was naughty and used modded discord clients I had a plugin that hid them, while not confusing it was slightly annoying to see people seemingly talking into thin air as full conversations happened with zero indication someone else was talking lol, so I completely understand why they made that design decision.

@acfc I use those clients but only on my PC, so when I'm on my phone, they come through like normal.

I have gotten confused at times but had the insight to turn the feature off to check if it was the case and then turn it back on after confirming, so maybe they should make it an official option.
