Can anyone point me to a #Mastodon #emoji of the #Australian #flag ?

I know it exists but I can’t find it to add to my #instance.

But to add it to your username you need it to be an instance hosted emoji.

Yup. I am trying to figure out how. In admin you can type in an instance & see their emoji & copy to yours.

Even though the link for this one is aus.social it doesn’t appear as one of their emoji.

Their admin even said he’d add it if I could find it.

I sent him the link an hour ago. It’s 10:30am here. So hopefully a resolution soon.

@john right click the emoji, click "save image", then go to the emoji page in your admin control panel and hit "upload".

If that doesn't work for you, I can do it in a few. Just give me time.

So how do I get it. Tried a search for the short code. Nada. Tried the copy & upload .same. If I try uploading the code I get the message “can’t be blank”.

I *think* emojis have to be in .svg format.

That one is showing as a .png to me.

@john yeah...it wasn't working for me either. That's when I went googling for a PNG version.

I'm so glad PNGs and GIFs work. Otherwise I wouldn't have half the emojis I have now. :bigbrain: :elonweed:
