My #avast subscription expired a few day's ago and I don't plan to renew it at all. That mean's I can no longer use it's build in vpn. Therefore, I'm searching a new #VPN which is simular to the one from avast. Nothing fancy. I want to have an accessible client, be able to connect do different servers, just to hide my IP or set my IP to other country's, and to hide which websites I'm visiting from some networks I need to use. Can anyone recommend me something price worth?

@jonathan859 is it important to you that the VPN account be disconnected to your Identity? A lot of VPNs require email for signup and obviously have those emails in an accessible database with logs of account activity.

This means that if requested by law enforcement for your personal data logs to see what you've been doing through the VPN, they'll do that.

The one I'm using doesn't keep logs and doesn't use emails for accounts.

Mullvad. It's the one I always recommend when discussing VPNs for these reasons.

@BeAware But its good to know this one doesn't. Does it work like I need it? Like, do you have to pay for it or, if it is free, how can they offer it for free? Do they have different servers in different country's, etc? lol sorry for the many questions, should probably just google the name.

@jonathan859 it has MANY different countries and yes, it does cost but only about $5 a month.

@BeAware Ah yeah, that seems fair. How do you identify yourself if there is no email verification shit? Also, do you know if their client is accessible for people with a screenreader?

@jonathan859 there's a random numerical string that's your account number. They don't care if you have dozens of accounts. If you forget your ID, just make a new one. Payments aren't recurring and they don't save payment info.

Unfortunately I do not know about the accessibility via screen reader.

You might just have to test it out yourself and hope it does okay.

@BeAware I have bought 1 month for 5€, but where can I select the server and such. It seems very good to me so far in terms of accessibillity, so I hope I can figure that out. It's still saying:
To start using the app, you first need to add time to your account. Either buy credit on our website or redeem a voucher.
But that's what I did.
