buttondown does indieweb well but doesn't do website good
ghost does website reasonably good but isn't particularly indieweb friendly (and has some maddening quirks)
wordpress is... wordpress
like, seriously, I never want to move back to Substack but at least it helped me get subs >.<
help me, much-rumoured friendly #indieweb community, you're my only hope

@damon I did! Unfortunately, I have the coding ability of a guinea pig, so to me it seemed a bit like the Final Boss of web content solutions

@damon @joshua_drummond there's many apps you could use.
On iOS, Primal, Damus, and OpenVibe come to mind.
On Android, Primal exists as well, but I think the most used app is Amethyst, it's very good in my opinion.
If you need assistance with anything specific, I might be able to help. The "public key" thing can be confusing and off-putting for non-technical people. It definitely made me feel dumb at first, but I quickly got the hang of it after a week or two.
For me, there's not enough people there to warrant spending a ton of time there. I'm on here to talk to people and I didn't get much talking unless I was talking about Nostr itself or cryptocurrency.
