Are there any Fediverse servers that can be deployed on cheap shared hosting? #fediadmin #FediMeta

@astrojuanlu I don’t think so, a small instance has a lot of database costs and media assets (in addition to traffic and other less measurable resources), I imagine it’s the cost of federation. At least talking about #mastodon, but maybe there are some other more viable options.
