Folks who #SelfHost: I have a hypothesis that the majority of us are actually older school tech nerds - 40+ - because we may be the last group of folks to remember what working in the tech industry was like before all the consolidation.

If you self host, how long have you considered yourself a "computer geek"? Not how long have you self hosted, but for how long have you been hacking at computers for fun and/or profit?
