Though I am now running a Mastodon instance, that won't automatically get me past my introversion. I really want to get past that, but seeing the general struggle that occurs in social spaces further feeds the urge to withdraw.

I do appreciate less commercialization on Mastodon and better control of the experience. Maybe I will actually come out of my shell long enough to get along.
