Sometimes the boost (repost/retoot) and like counts on posts show up less in my home feed. If I open the original page of the post, it reveals that the boost and like counts are actually higher. Is it just me (or my homeserver), or does everyone experience this problem?

@randint due to the way Fedi works, an instance can't possibly know every other instance and know about their like/boost count.

The counts are only from the instances that your instance knows and doesn't block.

@BeAware Thank you! But I still can't shake off the feeling that some of the likes were not federated over even if they were from a known and unblocked instance...
