Is there a way of filtering out languages on #Mastodon via the Mastodon settings or through @ivory? I follow hashtags which have so many different languages posting to them trying to sift out the ones I don’t understand is rather laborious.

@theparson @ivory yep, through the web UI, you go to Preferences > Other

However, this only works for posts on public timelines that have their language set correctly in the composer.

So if you follow hashtags, it won't filter out posts that are on your home feed nor will it filter out posts from users that don't set their language off of English and write in a different language.‍️
