@pj Start talking to VC managers right away. With that growth rate you could easily score some serious Series A funding.

@cdamian @pj A number of independent instances (like mine) are funded by the users. It would be interesting for something like Forkiverse to make membership an Incognito Mode benefit, like how some places add Discord access as a paid benefit.
I also think that any instances that are able to turn a profit should contribute some of that to the Mastodon project.

in true decentralized fashion, you should start another one based on the search engine name. then talk other tech podcasters like @cwarzel.bsky.social into starting one.
this is fun but the better model is public servers based on locality while media properties like podcasters start instances just for their staff. like they have websites and/or email servers. ideally every podcast episode would be its own #ActivityPub item, not just have a post that links to it.
