Ich habe mal eine Frage an die Blogger:innen, die das ActivityPub-Plugin für WordPress nutzen. Wie handhabt ihr das mit den Avataren? Was macht ihr, damit das DSGVO-konform funktioniert, also ohne Gravatar in jeglicher Form? Werden die Avatare aus dem Fediverse grundsätzlich angezeigt, da Gravatar ja nicht involviert ist?
Ich hatte das damals mal getestet und die Avatare aus dem Fediverse wurden nicht angezeigt, da ich über das Plugin „One User Avatar” die interne Funktion von WordPress deaktiviert hatte.
