For #SelfHosted #blogging, is #ghostblog really all that better than #WordPress? I'm thinking in #freemium terms.The one thing that particularly bothered me about WordPress was how anything truly useful, outside of taxonomy, was the fact that it ties a lot of value to monthly subscription fees.I even see the #ActivityPub implementation is single user only. I'm wondering if self hosted means you don't get multi user - or multi author support.It's been it and #WriteFreely.

Kurz mal den Blog abgeschossen aber er geht wieder! Zum Glück nicht der von Podcast. Auf dem Blog läuft das Activity Pub Plugin jetzt auch und die Kommentare werden auch übertragen. Leider funktioniert das noch nicht auf dem Wordpress für den Podcast und ich weiß nicht warum. #wordpress #activitypub #podcast

#FediAsk kann uns wer helfen? auf dem Blog unseres Vereines läuft #Wordpress mit #ActivityPub Plugin, nun können wir mit unseren #Mastodon Beiträge davon auch teilen, aber diese werden nicht komplett angezeigt mit dem Hinweis "die Veröffentlichung steht aus" und das der WP Account Zitieren erlauben lassen müsste. Jetzt habe ich meinen #Blog unter als blog@digitaleslagerfeuer.de via #activitypub #plugin bei #Wordpress mit dem #Fediverse verbunden und kann es nicht finden Was habe ich falsch gemacht? Muss ich nach dem aktivieren des PlugIns erstmal etwas posten, bevor man was sehen kann? Ich bin für #Tipps und Ratschläge offen.
