Someone should build a podvideo player. Maybe someone already has? Then you could couple that with the payment tech/method used by https://underproduktion.se/ in Malmö who have successfully created a user friendly simple app agnostic way to paywall podcasts, allowing content creators to get paid for their work.
Then you'd have something that could substitute YouTube (in some cases)

So now I've written "someone should" several times here... which I usually dislike when people do, because "why don't you do it?"
To my defence, I'm sort of hoping someone (again with the someone
) knows them and reads this and can tell them. I don't know these people, I enjoy their podcasts though

If they're interested they'll respond, if they don't respond at least it might linger in the back of their mind until someone they know bring it up
This has led to plenty of developments in stuff I'm part of.
