Up until a few years ago the US was one of the better countries with women's rights. Not to say that the US was great in this regard, just everyone else sucked more. Our abortion laws were considered quite progressive and radical for a while there.

Doing some looking around, looks like this is a page from Betty and Veronica #201, which was published in 1972. Also, the one posted has been colorized, it was originally black and white.

Yep. Saw some magazines from the 50s on a flea market here in Germany, and they showed pictures of some actresses in swim wear frollicking on a beach.
They were clones.
