Comic Strips

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

The rules are simple:

  • The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author’s website, for instance).
  • The comic must be a complete story.
  • If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
  • You may post comics from others or your own.
  • If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
  • The comic can be in any language, but if it’s not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post’s ‘body’ field (note: you don’t need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
  • Politeness.
  • Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

It is not. Those are, roughly, what those words mean. I could use more precise ones, but this isn't a serious philosophical discussion with serious people so the effort would be wasted. Substitute whichever words you prefer, there's a difference between an individual's personal belief in a higher power, and the institution which exploits that belief to oppress. Half-baked semantic objections do not make you clever. Engage with the content of the argument.

It's his attempt to show that he's human. Much like cuckberg, he isn't

A group is not an algebra. A group consists of a single associative binary operation with an identity element and inverses for each element. A ring is an abelian (commutative) group under addition, along with an additional associative binary operation (multiplication) that distributes over addition. The additive identity is called zero. A field is a ring in which every nonzero element has a multiplicative inverse. A vector space over a field consists of an abelian group (the vectors) together with scalar multiplication by elements of the field, satisfying distributivity and compatibility conditions. A non-associative algebra is a vector space equipped with a bilinear multiplication operation that distributes over vector addition and is compatible with scalar multiplication. An (associative) algebra is a non-associative algebra whose multiplication operation is associative. You can read more about these definitions online and in textbooks - these are standard definitions. If you are using different definitions, then it would help your case to provide them so we can better understand your claims.

You can always just practice a death metal growl. You never know when it might come in handy. My aunt's cat clawed me once and I just said: "Kitten!" in my best death metal growl. It looked at me all shocked and hasn't messed with me since.

Yeah, I fucked up a bit. I didn't know what this was talking about. I thought it was about defending Raymond's right to free speech. In actuality, it's about looking at someone on a far more surface level.

Every JRPG gives me that moment when I have a perfect pattern worked out with 4 members, and then I get an extra “cool guy” in the group. I can’t figure out what role he fits in, so I never use him.
