@jalcine all i can see of the preview is “let’s knock down social media” and i agree with at least that much

@FenTiger @helge @rimu there’s not even a boundary between messaging and publishing within fedi usage. i doubt splitting the spec into core vs http would help here…not to mention that such a split ends up being impossible due to directly relying on GET/POST semantics. it would be easier to rework activities into http verbs/methods than it would be to make activitypub http-independent.

for any #fedidev trying to build a distributed database: are your activities ACID-compliant? do you expect or require other people’s incoming activities to represent ACID-compliant transactions?
