occasionally an app will bug out and show me an old and a new avatar for the same person on one screen and every time i am like. this should be a feature

i said a million years ago on here that it would be neat if old posts retained your old avatar and display name and i still think that's a fun idea

bonus: if someone comes at you with a post from 7 years ago telling you it is problematic you can say. "that's not me. toilet haver 3000 said that, as you can see im not toilet haver 3000, i'm a soup-like homosexual"

@codl you could do it with static resources, just inline all the statements at the time of generating the resource

if you wanted to view the current info then you would dereference the actor's id and replace the outdated statements
