How NodeBB is perceived in your country?
-
Pessimistically speaking, in today's internet environment, web1.5-era BBS platforms that still operate on a centralized distribution model have indeed fallen by the wayside. A site that can still spark people's curiosity and desire to explore is therefore all the more precious.
-
As you see I'm trying to support project. Translating new lang strings and looking for bugs and other issues.
You can probably help with documentation for Chinese users.
-
There's an author of Chinese documentation for NodeBB on GitHub,
you can find it here: NodeBB-China/NodeBB-ChinaHowever, I'm not sure why it hasn't been updated in a long time.
My coding skills are pretty basic,so I probably wouldn't be up to the task of maintaining it
Most of the time, I rely on AI Q&A to help me with website development" />" />" />" />" />" />
-
All I can do is engage with everyone when I'm not work,
and provide suggestions on areas where I think the Chinese translations for NodeBB need improvement.
Or, I can submit pull requests on GitHub when I have something to contribute.
-
Good. Looks like you're really productive, effective and helpful. Thank you for contributing to NodeBB project.
-
@nhl.pl Thank you for your encouragement
-
From which part of China you're from? As I only talked to the ones who lives near to the capital city.
-
I should delete my Discourse forum, that I can install nodeBB.... I find nodeBB more simple than Discourse....
-
@kainos lower resource usage too!
-
@julian Tell me when is release from v4, is there new Design, or only some changes?
-
@kainos v4 will contain only ActivityPub features. There are no design changes besides what is already done in v3.x
-
@julian Ok, than we wait on v5 for new Design and functions.
-
@nhl.pl I'm in Tianjin, 200km from the capital, Beijing.

This book tells the story of three generations, and for those of us born in the new era, it was indeed a time of great change and upheaval.

Which Chinese books do you recommend to read? I mean translated to English.
Thanks.
-
@nhl.pl What kind of books do you like? The humanities? Science fiction?
I recommend a science fiction novel——《The Three-Body Problem》,
the grand science fiction,
I have read more than 10 times...
