I've seen those criticisms of Fedi that there's "SO many pedophiles here" which that's absolutely true if you're on an instance that doesn't ban those individuals and you follow them to see those types of content.

Therefore, I have to wonder, are those people on those instances and are they following the people that post that kinds of content?🤨

@BeAware I have heard that part of that and other opposition to it is the phrase "fediverse" makes people think of fetishes. I think there might be a kink-finding app with a similar sounding name too.
