Wait, are you using thunder? For me it just shows 99+, does it skip straight to 999+ once you get there? I assumed it was showing 99+ cause they didn't wanna fit more than 3 digits on the nav bar icon

This is Summit, which also shows 999+ for me despite me not having that many unread notifs.
