@helge @hongminhee one lovely consequence of misskey changing the id is that it leads to state desyncs in pleroma which strictly validates id despite not actually using it for anything. issue’s been open for over a year now. removing a follower in misskey -> pleroma is fundamentally broken

Tossing stuff into people's fighting rings is impolite and one should not do it. Also the goal is to arrive at something simple instead the current nonsense. See here.

@helge @hongminhee i mean the real “simple” solution is to stop requiring remote servers to be aware of local state… telling a follower theyve been removed should be only an optional courtesy.
