@trwnh it seems like Mastodon puts your own posts into the home timeline by default. Are there AP implementations that don't do that?

@evan i’m not sure the question makes sense unless you share the abstraction of a “home timeline”, but my mental model is that the “home timeline” is roughly analogous to combining your inbox and outbox, then filtering for Create/Announce specifically.

(similarly, the “notifications timeline” is roughly analogous to filtering your inbox for Like/Announce where the object.attributedTo is yourself, plus filtering your inbox for Create where to/cc includes yourself.)
