    @Hawaii hmm I know about #asstodon and @owlsintowels but not sure if there's a #gerbildon or ratsInHats account (etc) yet. Then again it's probably only a matter of time!

      @thenexusofprivacy
      I voted for the things I'm predominantly more interested in, but really, I'm interested in almost all of it. Don't care about sports, but the rest of it...

        @Hawaii

        There is a very unused #RodentsOfMastodon tag. I’m sure how to revive it as I don’t have rodents to contribute but maybe some hype so others use it.

        @thenexusofprivacy

        Edit to correct hashtag spelling

            What are you looking for in social media? (3/N)

            The first in a series of polls. UPDATE: there are now a couple more polls with suggestions I hadn't included in the original list!

            You can check more than one response, and if you've got other suggestions please leave them in the replies.

            I ticked 3, 5 and 10 but mostly it’s a space for seeking solace at what we’re doing

                  @raederle Perhaps it's unused because of the spelling? #RodentsOfMastodon You find more at #rodents and #RatsOfFediverse.

                      Could we use groups to: a) communicate privately and or publicly within working groups? b) create an opt-in social.coop members only group?
                      Do we already use this, and I just didn't know ;-)? Do you already use this feature elsewhere?

                                          @hollie @ansate @Matt_Noyes @CaitlinWaddick @edumerco @dphiffer @django @ktoddbrown @MarieVC I use them for a few other things (#BikeNite, mostly). They're always public, but the benefit over hashtags is that you get *every* post to the group, even if you're not normally federated with the server of the user who posts it. You can also use alerting rules (ie. always show a notification when this user posts or what not) which I don't think you can do with hash tags
