I believe that the phenomenon we currently witness at apple with their obviously flawed “liquid glass” ui is the problem an organisation that employs a significantly large number of well skilled people faces when they have optimised and finished a product. The product is completed and for the foreseeable future only minor tweaks are needed, yet the workforce needs tasks. For twitter this meant feature creep, for apple this means “ui work” and “further improvements” despite no need for them. Sad.
