TIL that CloudFlare actually built and maintained their own ActivityPub software called Wildebeest and shuttered it at the end of Q1 2023.
That's wild.

@julian it was a tech demo for cloudflare as a service. it honestly never got past proof-of-concept stage. last i remember, it used to show DMs on the public timeline.
