I don't think that the "Linked Web Storage Working Group" will consider ActivityPub. I was trying to mark it as a joke with SCNR (sorry could not resist). Sorry, I failed.

This does not mean that the "Linked Web Storage Working Group" description doesn't describe what the Fediverse needs. If you want to move away from the current "everyone replicates everything", you need something like a "Linked Web Storage".

@helge @FenTiger you could use activitypub to replicate resources between storage providers, i suppose
