@mobileatom @the-fediverse-vs-corporate-social-media-mobileatom The fact that #Bluesky needs Bridgy to talk to the fediverse illustrates it is not decentralised: it is 1 company collecting the data of their users on one server. #Mastodon and the rest of the fediverse should bow out fast.

Facts, it's not decentralized.
I don't have a problem with bridges. However, I do have a problem with a VC backed company advertising themselves as something they're, obviously and easily provable, not.
If they'd just stop saying they're decentralized, I wouldn't have a problem with Bluesky beyond the normal "it's VC backed corporate social media".
