At first it was annoying but now I just laugh my ass off. Like I've got one hell of a double life. On one hand, I'm a gay Canadian living on an island in the ocean with nothing but his cat. Tuvox wasn't able to be killed as he was not a real being. He was a glitch. He was an error. Janeway did nothing wrong and I would have Ctrl-Z'd him too.
Honestly, I know that you're point, but I just wanted to point this out. Let's say somebody got brain damage They become a completely different person. after a couple of months a treatment is devised to fix this brain damage. However, the person with brain damage no longer wants this. Is it ethical to listen to them? They are not thinking correctly and cannot make the best decisions for themselves. Do you fix the brain damage or do you let them live with this brain damage? Honestly, the argument is not too dissimilar.
