mikedev@fediversity.sitereplied to ilja@ilja.space last edited byThere's quite a wide range of fedi support for quoted posts now. You would be surprised. Looks fine here.
Incidentally, quoteUri was included twice in the activity.
But it's worth asking - do you really want to implement and then be forced to support a dozen different proprietary and incompatible implementations of quote posts like I did? Please, please, please support FEP-232e. It's the recommended way out of the quoted posts incompatibility madness. -
@mikedev you misunderstand, i don't mean the quote (i 100% agree it would be better to use the object links fep, but i wasn't the one who added this implementation of quotes and by the time the FEP was there, the implementation was already written, despite me asking to pls wait untill a broader consensus was reached).
The thing I'm talking about is the MFM in the post I quoted. It's a silly Misskey feature which gave a lot of problems trying to get it working outide of a Misskey fork, so I'm quite proud of myself for how well I got it working now :blobfoxuwu: It's an implementation of https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fep/src/branch/main/fep/c16b/fep-c16b.md -
mikedev@fediversity.sitereplied to ilja@ilja.space last edited byAh, thanks for that. MFM was completely off my radar.
