example of tag aliases: something tagged "yugioh" should have aliases "yu-gi-oh" and "yu-gi-oh!" and "ygo". loading the tag page for one of these should show content tagged with any of these.
example of tag composition: the tag "yugioh duel monsters" can be tagged as "yugioh", so that any content tagged as "yugioh duel monsters" also shows up when browsing the tag list page for "yugioh"

looks like the answer is "hugo's aliases function cannot be used for aliasing in this manner. go implement your own aliasing system"
