@achim so basically after waiting almost three years to see any kind of constructive decision made about my ticket, I think I'm finally ready to accept that Mastodon has no intention of going past their Embrace, Extend and Extinguish approach to the ActivityPub protocol and the fediverse. They shown no intention of supporting the other services in the Fedivserse, and care only about compatibility with themselves.
