In the first half we talk about all the work we're doing at @anewsocialweb with Bridgy Fed and Bounce. Then, in the second half, Sean lets me rave about all the exciting work happening in the open social web.
It's a long one, but we had a ton of fun chatting with Sean and we probably could've gone for another few hours if we had time.

Hard disagree.Hard disagree. Not only does this not distribute in every standard way available, they also don't properly link inside the text attachment (shown in the QT of a @jherskowitz post I've attached in the reply).
This is a lock-in mechanism and doesn't help with any work you do outside of Threads. -

We're ramping up our funding efforts at @anewsocialweb to ensure we can run Bridgy Fed and Bounce for the long run.Working on @anewsocialweb has been a dream come true, and I can't begin to say how lucky I feel to be able to work with @shnarfed.
But if we want this to run for the long haul, we need to start thinking about where the money is coming from.

We're ramping up our funding efforts at @anewsocialweb to ensure we can run Bridgy Fed and Bounce for the long run.We're still majority self-funded. @shnarfed has been donating his money for Bridgy Fed infra since before we started the non-profit, and I've been donating other organizational costs since.
We've also both been (happily) full-time volunteers on the project since December 2024. (2/3)
