posts along with followers to other Pixelfed servers is something we need to do, and will be a priority after I ship the new release, and mobile app later this month.I say to other Pixelfed servers, because I'm not aware of any other software that would support this, but I do plan to write a FEP so we can support full account migration between software!

Also I guess you are talking about copying the posts, not migrating them (which will preserve their interactions)? -

@dansup I can not say, as we havent studied the specification in detail. Once we start working on improving account migration, we will do our best to re-use existing specifications, but I can not commit to anything before we do our homework.

moving followers is no big deal, thats standard migrations.
what is more interesting is moving posts.
thats where atproto wins by a lot right now

This might be mixing up the E2EE and LOLA projects. I know the Data Portability Initiative was building a reference implementation, but I think Emissary is the only live server that’s implemented LOLA at the moment.
But please tell me if I’m wrong. It would be awesome to see more implementations out there!
