@Mastodon launched 10 years ago as another contribution to the #Fediverse!
As soon as they arrived, we federated with them through the predecessor of #ActivityPub, called #OStatus. Learn more about the history here.
Since then, the Mastodon project has grown a lot and brought many new users to the Fediverse. We offer our warmest congratulations!
