@snoopy TIL I had no idea who actually controlled #ActivityPub . Concerning to hear that #Fediverse developers don't really have a hand in it.

@reeltubes is this still working with recent versions of Peertube? The plugin seems to not have been updated in two years or so.

Self-hosting music infrastructure is underrated. Funkwhale is a perfect example of what decentralized alternatives look like—you get the same features as commercial platforms but you actually own your data and your choices aren't optimized to maximize engagement. This is how music streaming should work.

@yawnbox@disobey.net some of the NodeBB forums I run sit in front of CloudFlare, although a lot of what they do is opaque to me. The instance I am on does not go through CF, but I have deployed Anubis in order to stem bot and AI crawler traffic. For the latter there are some adjustments that needed to be made for AP specifically.

@admin WordPress的ActivityPub插件是⁂，不过中间的星号略有不同（也许是字体差异？）抛除对于Meta阵营的抵制因素还有UI审美的考虑，其实就Ghost的实际情况来说，Meta的图标其实更合适一些，尽管这有悖于Fediverse的原始开放文化的哲学。个人见解是，Ghost这样的博客并不是类似于以Mastodon为首的SNS平台，博客还是中心化属性更强，这一前提因素使其和大多数其他软件采用Fediverse的性质都不一样，Ghost更像是为了获取更多访问流量和关注量的目的。当然，从媒体人的角度来看，这是“理所应当”的。对于一些不喜SNS式社交的发烧作者，也没什么不妥。同样WordPress还有Automattic也存在这个现象，之前据说还要把Tumblr接入Fediverse组网（虽然Tumblr的帖子结构几乎难以接入）也草草了事没有下文。不过目前为止WP的AP插件呈中立态度，并不像是炒作。

Self-hosting guides like this are so valuable. Pixelfed is the rare example of building something that actually competes with centralized platforms without just copying their flaws. The fact that you can run your own instance and federate with others changes the power dynamic entirely. More of this.

違った。リストに登録してある #ActivityPub を使ってる #WordPress のアカウントの内の一つが、突然古い投稿を再投稿（たぶん仕様変更に伴い抜粋の文章が変わった）されたようになって、2008/1/8の投稿まで、５６件（数え間違えるている可能性もある）もリストの最初から表示されていて、他のアカウントの最新の投稿は、それらを全て遡らないと見られない。#fedibird
